Brandon Ford, a dealership located basically on the border of Tampa, FL, and the suburb of Brandon, FL, is known for marketing and selling high performance Mustangs. Over the years, we’re pretty sure the dealership has sold most of the “tuner” Mustangs on the market, and some of its own offerings at the same time.
When Roush introduced the 440A back in 2004 as a sendoff for the New Edge Mustang, Brandon Ford bought all 40 of them. That’s how strongly the dealership feels about performance Mustangs. These days, however, the dealership has taken the bull by the horns to put together the BF Rocket.
The BF Rocket starts out as a Premium GT, to which Brandon Ford adds a Roush Phase 1 TVS R2300 supercharger, XO Luxury wheels, Recaro red-stitched seats, and a Roush exhaust. The Roush Phase 1 supercharger boosts output up from the stock 435 horsepower, up to 627 horsepower. The supercharger system uses a Roush calibration to make sure everything lives in concert, and to keep the warranty valid.
This particular BF Rocket is number 004, and it belongs to Tyler Scofield. Scofield, and his dad Jeff, are no stranger to high-performance Mustangs. Jeff Scofield owns a 2014 Shelby GT500 that has run in the 9.30s, and is currently under the knife for more power over the roughly 1,100-rwhp it previously made. The younger Scofield doesn’t need that much power as of yet, but we’re sure at some point this car will make way more than it does currently.
