The ability to make astronomical amounts of horsepower is amazing, but you want to be able to have control of the car and get it stopped safely, too. With the proper front suspension and brake components, you can deal with as much horsepower as you can generate, while keeping your car planted to the pavement and able to stop on a dime. Detroit Speed has a new line of front suspension parts for 1993-2002 F-bodies that will allow owners to experience better handling and stopping anywhere they drive.
Detroit Speed is known for its ability to crank out high-quality parts that will make any vehicle handle and stop like a supercar. Their new front coilover kit is a direct bolt-on system for the fourth-generation F-body, and includes the shocks, shock mounts, springs, and all mounting hardware. Detroit Speed designed the system so you’re able to change the springs without removing the front wheels.
To complement the coilover kit, Detroit Speed also offers an adjustable front sway bar and heavy-duty front sway bar bracket. The adjustable sway bar bolts directly to any 1993-2002 F-body and is adjustable on the car to provide the best handling for your application. The heavy-duty front sway bar brackets are designed to help reinforce the framerail and are extremely durable.
The X-Tracker hub adapter kit provides the fourth-generation F-body crowd with a way to bolt-on upgraded hubs to their cars without any difficulties. The kit uses an SKF Racing X-Tracker hub on the stock spindle, which provides more durability and braking power. The wheel is left in the stock location and won’t see a change in offset, plus the factory ABS can be used, as well.
