Lingenfelter Performance Engineering Stage 2 Performance Package For C7 Z06

Corvette owners can increase the performance and power of their C7 Z06 LT-4 engine with a new Stage 2 engine package from Lingenfelter Performance Engineering.

Lingenfelter Stage 2 Z06-2Created with Lingenfelter’s signature attention to precise detail and quality, the 6.2L engine package increases the performance of the LT-4. Using the factory 1.7L supercharger while raising horsepower from 650 stock to 750 horsepower, with an increase of peak torque to 750 lbs. ft., Lingenfelter’s C7 Z06 engine package ups the LT-4’s horsepower and torque, providing improvements in both throttle response and acceleration while maintaining drivability and reliability. The package also maintains the factory A/F ratio to support catalyst protection mode.

The kit includes: Lingenfelter CNC-ported LC-4 cylinder heads, custom LT4 camshafts and headers, LT1/LT4 dry sump damper, Lingenfelter 9.2-inch 15 percent overdrive supercharger drive pulley, supercharger drive belt, 100mm idler pulley kit, high flow air filter, and 170-degree performance thermostat. Professional installation by Lingenfelter-trained technicians is available at the company’s Decatur, Ind. or Wixom, Mich., build facilities includes chassis dyno testing before/after installation with dyno graphs and video documenting the performance gains on USB drive. The package comes with distinctive Lingenfelter branding, comprised of chrome fender badges, interior badge and personalized stainless engine badge, along with Lingenfelter’s official certificate of authenticity.  The package is backed by a one year/12,000 mile warranty on the added components.

The Lingenfelter Stage 2 LT-4 kit boosts horsepower and torque across the entire power band, which translates into a noticeable difference in acceleration. Throttle response is also greatly improved, with the LT-4 now responding instantly to pedal input. The result is a Z06 Corvette that feels more like a race car on a road course, yet with the manners and temperament of a car that can easily be driven comfortably daily on the street.
