Hedman Introduces New S-10 V8 Chevy Long Tube Headers

Hedman Hedders, an industry leader in performance header manufacturing since 1954, is proud to announce its new Long Tube Exhaust Headers supporting the swap of most Chevrolet [Gen 1] small block engines (including aluminum angle plug heads/L98) into the 1982 to 2004 Chevy S-10 and GMC S-15. Unlike many other long tube S10 swap headers, this new model has a one-piece, in-frame design, making them easier to install.

These headers provide higher performance than cast manifolds or short tube headers, and they are constructed using durable 16-gauge mild steel primary tubes, stout 3/8” flanges, and employ Hedman’s popular ball/socket style collector that uses no gasket. Hedman offers these headers uncoated, as well as, polished silver (HTC) and satin black (Black Maxx) ceramic-metallic coated to complement your personal style.

The Chevy small block is a versatile engine transplant for the GM S-series truck platform and provides a compact powerplant for these smaller trucks with tight under hood clearances. Chevy small block engines have been one of the most popular engines for car enthusiasts looking for the perfect balance of power and reliability, with a multitude of available power adders. Hedman Hedders has been manufacturing S10 headers for more than 30 years, and their Mid-length S10 swap header design (#69520) has been the go-to design for more than 20 years. Hedman’s #69030 series long tube headers give S10/S15 owners another, high performance header option. They’re a must for higher output engines, and they provide more torque for stroker applications – particularly in high RPM, WOT situations.

Hedman’s new long tube S-Series truck headers are compatible with floor shifted automatic transmission, two-wheel drive applications. While the headers may be compatible with other engine mount brands, Hedman Hedders developed these headers using Trans-Dapt Performance Products’ engine swap mount kit #9906, and it is recommended that these mounts be used to ensure the best fit.

These S10 V8 swap headers include head flange bolts & gasket, collector bolts and a collector-to-exhaust adapter. As with all Hedman Hedders, these long tube S-Series truck headers are made in the USA, and are backed by Hedman’s Limited Lifetime warranty. Hedman’s factory applied coatings are covered for a full 5 years.
