In America, you’d be hard-pressed to find any enthusiasts who would call the Jaguar F-Type SVR a ‘muscle car’, but we could be totally wrong. It might actually one bad muscle car, menacing, supercar killing muscle car at that. This British car might have a stuck up image, but it packs a punch and may deserve a little more credit than a businessman’s commuter car.

This car is cleverly designed with a potent 5.0L V8 engine to power the curves of edges of the aggressive body. Launched in 2013, the F-Type is the most attractive car the brand has launched in quite some time, and the FVR has Ferrari bating performance attributes, with the capabilities to reach speeds of 200 miles per hour. This is the first Jag to reach the coveted 200 mph mark since the XJ220.

It’s odd to hear a right-hand drive built car makes such a fuss under acceleration as the car reaches 60 miles per hour in only 3.5 seconds. It can get there thanks to the 567 bhp given to it, but it’s also completely capable of using all of this horsepower thanks to the new front anti-roll bar, suspension, and shocks that help improve handling and ride feel.

It rides on 25” split spoke wheels that are wrapped in wider than ever rubber. This model has also been given side skirts and other aero components that make it more cunning and aggressive than nearly any other British car.

The one real downfall is that you’re going to be paying more for the SVR than a lot of supercars, or more capable American muscle cars and sports cars. This model starts out around $150,000, and goes up from there.
