The production of the Dodge Viper has officially come to an end, but this American supercar is hardly done showing off. People are far from done with these cars, using them to get to the far edge of the extreme using all of the goodies in the aftermarket world. This twin-turbo Viper ACR is a shining example of how car builders can take a supercar, and make it a beautiful monster.
Calvo Motorposrts have shown up on our radar before for their ability to build high-performance street cars. They gave this V10 Viper a twin-turbo package that takes the stock 8.4L block to 1,750-horsepower. The modification list beyond that is rather extensive, but includes a dry-sump oiling system, and clutch kit that can handle the power.
Even with globs of power, this is still a streetcar, or at least a street driven car. It has 19” wheels and street legal tires, and in this video, it’s heading to drag racing event to show off what it can really do.
