The Xceleration Media team continues to grow with the addition of Ivan Korda as a dedicated Sales Director for all XM print and digital properties.
A native of Tampa, Florida, Ivan Korda is a lifelong automotive enthusiast. He first broke into the automotive scene in the import world, but a ride with his uncle in a Z06 Corvette had him hooked on American muscle. While working on his degree in marketing at the University of South Florida, Korda took a job at a mechanic shop working on anything that had an engine, while at the same time interning at Master Engine Tuner.
Upon graduation he took a sales position with a global event management company. In 2014, he made the difficult decision to leave that job—where he was one of the top salesmen—to follow his fiancée who had accepted a job in Memphis, Tennessee. Korda comes to Xceleration Media from COMP Cams, where he worked in the technical services department.
“Ivan is a tremendous addition to our team,” said XM Group Publisher, Shawn Brereton. “Ivan’s passion for all things automotive allows him to ‘speak the language’ of our customers, making sure that Xceleration Media is meeting its marketing needs – be it in print, digital, or video. We already have some of the most-acclaimed editors in the business, and Ivan’s knowledge will provide the perfect bridge to ensure our partner’s message reaches auto enthusiasts across the nation. He has already hit the ground running, contacting many of our current clients to start developing that relationship.”
Korda will work to provide a variety of marketing and advertising opportunities for partners in titles including OneDirt, Drag Racing Scene, Power & Performance News, Street Rod Life, and Gearheads4Life.
“I am very excited to have the opportunity to work with the Xceleration Media team,” Korda said. “I think last year ended very well for us and 2016 will continue that upward trend. We have made a few key changes to our team that will propel this company to the next level. My overall objective is to build as many long-lasting relationships with our customers as possible.”
Korda currently owns a 2004 SVT Cobra Mustang that he is building into an all-around performance machine. It recently made 550+ horsepower on the dyno.
