Okay, maybe the title is a little misleading, it’s not us specifically who loves you Dodge Charger, but we are definitely interested in being friends. It’s America as a whole that has a thing for the Dodge Charger, as it has just been named one of the Most Loved Vehicles in America by Strategic Vision. This is the fourth time in a row when a Moper-Made sports sedan has led the full-size class in admiration by their owners.
In America, the Dodge Charger is the bestselling rear-wheel-drive sedan, and second bestselling full-size sedan overall, only coming in behind the Impala. It offers a variety of high-performance engines that makes it impossible for any other 4-door vehicle to compete with it amongst people looking for a performance vehicle.
“Dodge Charger exemplifies the energy, design, performance and quality cues that exemplify passion, this is what the ‘Most Loved Vehicle’ award represents, and why Charger is the segment leader.” said Christopher Chaney, senior vice president – Strategic Vision.
The poll taken by Strategic Vision included almost 35,000 people who purchased a new vehicle between October 2016 and April 2017, 90 days after they had owned their vehicle. They don’t release the full numbers to conclude the scores in each segment, but they provide that the Dodge Charger took the full-size class with a 559 score. Only the coupe and convertible Corvette and 4-door hardtop Mini Cooper received higher scores overall.
