Ford has been dropping hints around their advertising and promotional videos of the special models to come with the 2018 Mustang. There has been recent sitings of special Mustang models in their photos and videos over the last few weeks, so people are curious if this display is a hint at a 2018 Mach 1 variant.

These kinds of car shows are used by automakers to display new debuts and concepts, but right up there on the turntables with the Foci and Fusion was a mint condition 1971 Mustang Mach 1.

The 1971 represented the last of the great muscle car models before the oil crisis, and was even featured in the James Bond movie, Diamonds Are Forever.

Its presence at the show has fans wondering if this is an indication that Ford will release a variant of the Mach 1 for the current generation. The last time a Mach 1 was made, was in 2004.
