If you are afraid of commitment, enjoy variety, and subscription services make your life easier, then getting into a car just got a whole lot easier. Available through the App Store and Google Play, the Mercedes-Benz Collection is a subscription service that allows you to switch between different types of vehicles depending on your needs or lifestyle.

Sound too good to be true? Here’s what you need to know:

The app is the result of a  collaboration between Mercedes-Benz USA, Mercedes-Benz Financial Services USA and Mercedes-Benz dealers. It is currently testing as a pilot in Nashville, Tennessee, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The program offers vehicles in three tiers – Signature, Reserve, and Premier – with two provided in each city and prices ranging from $1,095 to $2,995 per month, dependent on city and level.

There is a one-time “activation fee” of $495, and all of your personal information will be verified  by Mercedes-Benz. They will also take a look at your credit history and driving record before approval. Once everything checks out, you are able to choose any vehicle offered in your subscription tier, including Mercedes-Benz SUVs, sedans, coupes, cabriolets, roadsters and wagon models.

Each tier also allows access to the popular high-performance Mercedes-AMG models.

The Mercedes-Benz Collection works through a combination of the new Mercedes-Benz Collection app and a local concierge.

Once you’re a member, you can initiate vehicle exchanges, and chat with the concierge via the app. The Concierge staff ensures the delivery is consistent with the details and preferences in your profile and then delivers it washed, with a full tank of gas, and takes away the previous vehicle.

The monthly subscription does not have any milage limitations and the service fee also includes insurance, 24/7 roadside assistance, and vehicle maintenance.
