This new bellhousing is made from 535 aluminum/magnesium alloy for light weight and strength and is CNC-machined for a precision fit. It is a simple bolt-in replacement for the factory bellhousing yet is SFI-approved for all racing applications.
The new TCI® Ford C4 Almag Bellhousing fits the common 157-tooth Ford flexplate and two-bolt starter applications without modification and eliminates the need for the standard flexplate shield often required with weaker alloy bellhousings. The 5 7/8-inch depth is the most common one found with C4 transmissions. This is one of the most cost effective and safe solutions available for this application and works with all case-filled transmissions.
