The new TCI® Circlematic™ Powerglide Clutchless “Low Gear Only” Transmission with Kickout-Style Pan delivers the ultimate in reliable performance. Featuring the special kickout pan that keeps the filter submerged during hard cornering, you’re certain to never run short of fluid. The “low gear only” feature is excellent for applications with limited rear end gear choices, which can benefit from the 1.82:1 low gear ratio. In essence, on a double low gear transmission, the first gear makes for easy take-offs when stopped while the second low gear keeps rpm in the right range for optimum performance. A real “working” torque converter is not required. The true “internal dump” design ensures total hands off operation so you can concentrate on racing and not shifting.
