We are currently running round two of qualifying for the Hot Rod Magazine Pump Gas Drags presented by COMP Cams. Four cars didn't make it from the COMP HQ to the track. One driver reports that his temp gage was over 300 degrees! "Thank God for O Rings and copper head gaskets" he said.

Some VERY stout cars running, though no times are being announced as only the quickest 32 will make the field. Knock on wood the weather is holding and it looks like we are going to get this one in.

Stay close because we will be bringing you coverage of round by round action. Now enjoy some pictures of the action from here at the track.

67 Mustang has a pretty tight engine bay

Nothing like a twin plug HEMI in a 69 Baracuda
