For the 3rd day of the Mopar Muscle Engine Challenge we again fired up the engine dyno in COMP Cams R&D facility. There have been some impressive horsepower number posted so far, but with a couple of heavy hitters still left, the outcome of the competition is far from over. Here are some of the highlights from today's action. First up is team Promax Performance out of Canada.






With ProMax Performance completing there three offical dyno pulls, it was now team J.D. Engines chance to show off their skills.







With both teams’ engines passing the qualifying round and completing three official dyno pulls, they are then inspected by editor David Young to verify they meet the contest rules.




With no major engine failures and some big horsepower surprises (can’t tell you about it yet!) today was considered a successes for all involved.










Only one competitor is left and scheduled for the engine dyno tomorrow morning. Stay tuned to see what happens when the Indy assembled engine gives our SuperFlow SF-902 dyno a spin.
