Misc: Firewall is completely smoothed. Master cylinder is a Wilwood 7/8” bore in a custom made fixture under the dash. All electronics, roll-control, and adjustable proportioning valve are on a custom made panel under the passenger side dash. It had a 3 on the tree, 6 cylinder, and original rearend. The car underwent a complete frame-off from 2007-2009. The engine was built in ’92 and is one of the only complete turn-key blower motors built by RHS when they built crate engines. The crank and cam are a custom grind by COMP Cams. The car was off the road from 2003-2009 with the engine sitting on an engine stand for that long. It fired right up as soon as the fuel hit the carbs on the first time on March 8, 2009!

On the To-Do List: Shawn wants to mini-tub it and replace the rearend with a triangulated 9-inch which will allow him to run the exhaust over the axle. Long-term: The interior is from 1987, so Shawn would like to update it. The paint isn’t holding up well, so it will need to be repainted in the next year or two. Shawn is also thinking about putting Ridetech Shockwaves on it and upgrade to 6 piston brakes.

Stay tuned folks, more 1PDQ55 goodness is coming your way!
