This muscle car is a heck of a treat for Mopar fans. It’s a piece from the Brothers Collection, and it’s the very first 1969 Plymouth Road Runner A12 ever built. This car was used by Chrysler to promote their A12 Roadrunner package, and is known as the “Wayward Beeper.” The significant history is outlined in a feature in Super Stock Magazine, when it was tuned by legend Ronnie Sox.
This stunning muscle car is powered by a 440 engine that makes 390 horsepower with three 2 barrel carbs, and backed by a A833 four-speed transmission. It has also has stripped down interior, and 4.10:1 rear gears. Chrysler calls this the fastest A12 ever built since it’s gone 12.91 seconds in the 1/4 mile!
