This Galaxie’s hood treatment was funcational and very well done. The car is owned by Jim Williams of Hoacienda Heights and features a 392ci Windsor engine and 5-speed trans with Air Ride suspension.
Across from the Buick GN contingent was the grouping of Monte Carlo SS vehicle of various years – all part of a club outing.
The local G Body-holics were in full force on Sunday with Monte Carlo and Buick GN cars.

Winner of the Street Rod Life editor’s pick award was this Willys of Jim Hix – certainly you can see why.
Gerald Lum cranks his ’71 Camaro Z/28 through the cones of the autocross. Lum bought this car new in ’71 nad has raced it ever since.
There were only a few Mercurys at this show but this one was superb. The American Graffiti Cyclone packed full Ford 427 ci FE power under hood.
Chris Jacobs from Overhaulin and other Velocity TV shows were on set to sign autographs and been with fans at the show.

It may not be pretty but this Monte Carlo can certainly boil the hides.
Movie fans will remember this GTO from the movie XXX. Fernando Mora restored the car to “set ready” condition. The car was originally one of 12 built for the movie by Eddie Paul – this was one of the few that survived and the best one left today.
