The COMP Performance Group (CPG) will be on hand at the Fall Street Machine Nationals for the very first time.
Thousands of vehicles and performance enthusiasts will make their way to Springfield, Missouri, this month to wind down the show season with one last hurrah. The Fall Street Machine Nationals are scheduled for September 26 – 27 at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds in the Show-Me State. The COMP Performance Group trailer and knowledgeable technicians will be in attendance. Techs will sell parts and apparel at special show rates, plus offer plenty of gearhead advice. CPG brands will also serve as major supporters of the event, with COMP Cams signed on as the Main Stage sponsor and FAST serving as an Event Level supporter.
The popular COMP Cams Engine Builder Duel competitions will also wrap up their 2015 slate in Springfield. Three contests are scheduled throughout the weekend. In each competition, a pair of two-person teams competes head-to-head to determine which one can assemble and run a Small Block Chevy engine in the shortest amount of time. The winners’ engine must run for 30 seconds. The victors will each receive a $250 COMP Cams product certificate, while the runners-up will be provided with $125 certificates from the valve train leader.
A variety of other events including a burnout competition, dyno challenge and autocross competition are also scheduled throughout the weekend. As always, there will also be plenty of updates from the CPG social media team via outlets including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
