The primary reason besides the economy that NASCAR is hurting is because it got away from what made it great. Your idea will just alienate the core base of fans even more than they are today. Want to improve NASCAR here are some solid ideas.First get rid of the Chase. It is a complete joke and is an insult to the history of NASCAR. Baseball doesn't give one team a 5 run lead at the start of each playoff game. Nor does the NFL give a team a TD lead at the start of the Superbowl. The idea of giving some one bonus points on top of what they have already is ridiculous.Second get rid of the 35 rule. New drivers are not getting chance because a team cannot take a chance on new talent if they must battle for one of 7 available spots in each race. They are going to go with a veteran who they know can get the car into the race or maybe even a former champion. The 35 rule also eats up sponsorship dollars for back and middle of the pack cars. Sponsors who would usually be a primary sponsor for middle of the pack cars have become minor sponsors at the same amount of money on cars safely in the top 35.Third no lucky dog crap. Allow the LEADER and lapped cars in the immediate vicinity race back to the yellow if the track is clear. .A car half a lap behind is not in the immediate vicinity.Fourth get rid of the current double wide restart. Either pit every car on same lap and line them up as they came out of pit or go back to lapped down car on inside. It is not right for two cars to be running next to each other, have the leader pass them and then the yellow come out. Then one of the cars gets a lap back and the other is placed a lap down to the car he was head to head with before the yellow.Fifth get rid of wind tunnels and computer shaker machines. Create new noses for each make and raise the windshield so the car will cut larger holes in the wind. No wind tunnel testing make every team start off with a clean slate, no computer testing machines in shops. Let teams test with their own ignition boxes for practice but hand out boxes for qualifying and race day when car lines up for each event on pit row..

This isn’t your weekly Saturday night dirt track. He also built the original 1:1 Red Baron Sow Rod, the Sonic Cuda, - (have any info on this one please pass along) the full size Zingers, Crater Raider 1, the Fire Truck No. 13 and a host of others. Chuck is a great guy and is still building cars today.

This were originally designed By Chuck Miller out of Detroit, Michigan. Chuck Miller Studios.<br

That's a 502 with a massflo EFI system. It was the picture massfloefi.com used for years in Hot Rod Magazine when they finally started building systems for the big block chevys. This is actually the prototype, and it is literally my engine in my 1968 Chevelle SS502 convertible. All those with big blocks with mass flo efi, you can thank me.

I love that you used a picture of my engine to talk about classic big blocks.
