Sometimes it can be difficult to get a mechanical fuel pump to work with your engine package or chassis setup. But carburetors don’t require extremely high fuel pressure like injected systems, so you can get away with a smaller, less obtrusive pump.
It looks like Holley’s engineers were thinking the same thing when they designed the company’s new Mighty Mite electric fuel pumps. Holley says they are big on performance but small on both size and price. This new line of pumps is designed to operate quietly, be easy to install, and work with gasoline, diesel, blended alcohol and even E85. We’re told they are also self-priming and really suck–but in a good way. They have an impressive dry lift capability to allow you more flexibility when choosing mounting locations.
These new pumps are made in the good-old USA and can support as much as 400 horsepower in carbureted applications. For more info we’ve put the links for the product pages on Holley’s website below.
